Taking place in London every year since 1978, Decorex International is Europe’s leading event for interior design professionals, calling Olympia London home. Decorex 2019 will open its door on the 6th-9th October in a four-day long show for professionals who will take interior design to the next level. The show will host international brands and designers presenting their newest exquisite designs, materials and decorative solutions made from the finest craftsmanship.
EXHIBIT
The finest high-end international suppliers showcasing a diverse collection of quality products across the interior design world, covering furniture, fabric and wallcoverings, lighting, carpets and rugs, and accessories. Where Covet House will be presenting an amazing modern classic loft at Stand F206 for the ultimate design experience.
SEMINARS
Expect a packed programme of talks featuring industry names discussing and debating craft, lighting, hotels, yacht design plus much more.
DESIGN ENCOUNTER
A new venue! Head upstairs and journey through a series of interconnecting spaces for a unique, immersive and personalized encounter, a boundary-pushing collaboration between Architect John Allsopp and acclaimed interior designers Natalia Miyar, Run for the Hills, Samantha Todhunter Design, These White Walls, Zachary Pulman and Sella Concept.
FUTURE HERITAGE
Showcasing the most exciting emerging makers and craftspeople, Future Heritage is the UK’s leading platform for British craft, designed to discover and support collectible artists and designers. This year, you can expect names such as Gavin Keightley, Celia Dowson, and Hsiao-Chi & Kimiya.
THE BAR
The Bar at Decorex creates an inspiring space on the show floor for visitors to relax, meet friends and reflect on the inspiring designs seen at the show.
FOUNDATION
Formerly known as CraftWork, this is a platform for the next generation of designers from across disciplines, each displaying products with the highest level of artisanal craftsmanship. Some names are Kevin Stamper, Laurent Peacock, and Michele Oberdieck
IN THE MAKING
Live, interactive demonstration spaces across the show give insight into the meticulous journey and care and artisanal piece takes before it reaches the client’s home. Expect to see Morris & Co. Style Library and The Building Crafts College.
Sustainability at Decorex 2019
In recent years, the world has been waking up to the urgencies of climate change and sustainability. Decorex has not ignored this emergency and will this year be 100% powered by renewable energy, preventing the creation of an estimated 21.5tons of CO2, and therefore significantly reducing the event’s carbon impact.
