Drake into Luxury: The Pic 6ix Restaurant
The internationally acclaimed Canadian rapper, Drake has recently opened a new restaurant in Toronto, the Pick 6ix Restaurant. This stunning dining venue was conceived through a partnership between Drake’s own record label, Ovo and Montreal Chef, Antonio Park’s restaurant group. Essentially, the 178-seat restaurant, with a patio that seats 100 more, is a cross between a casual restaurant, upscale lounge, and sports bar.
The menu reflects South American and Japanese influences. There’s a raw bar with seafood platters and sushi, “open-face gyoza” that reference Argentinian empanadas, and “lobster spaghetti à la Montréal,” a decadent dish of butter-poached lobster over veal beef bolognese and topped with Grana Padano cheese. A braised Korean style short rib is inspired by a recipe from Park’s great-grandmother, Food & Wine reports.
According to Paul Kroeze, the principal at Kroeze Interieur, the main reason behind selecting Maison Valentina’s design was that, “When we were looking for products for this project, we found yours and decide it for it because the brand has special products that other bathroom brands don’t have.
