iSaloni 2019: The Inspiration of Young Designers at SaloneSatellite – Once again we come to you here at Covet Group news, with a little bit more information about this magnificent event that is coming. A lot will happen in iSaloni this year, so let’s learn more about SaloneSatellite a place for interface with manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers.

SaloneSatellite was the first event to focus on young designers and since 1998 runs again concurrently with the Salone del Mobile. The challenge has always been to imagine the shape of design to come and to try and imagine how future generations will forge a new, perfect balance between project, function and beauty.
And in 2010 started the SaloneSatellite Award, a further opportunity to facilitate contact between young designers and businesses, this year on its 10th edition an international Jury made up of prominent figures in the design world will select the 3 most outstanding products.
A major new departure in the last edition was the participation in the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, an event launched by the European Commission and run and coordinated in Italy by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage (Mibact). This award has gone to the emerging talent the Jury felt best represented the theme of sustainability.
