The design process inside Covet Group. Design is in our DNA. Covet Group lives and breaths design inside out. Our pieces, our space, the people live for design. It’s not that usual to see such an influence but Covet Groups lives and breaths design and craftsmanship. We want to elevate design so for us, inspiration is really everywhere. Our conference rooms, coffee place and also offices are full of images that show images that inspire the thinkers and also the makers.
At the workshop stations, you can see that the process itself is an inspiration. Too many details are part of a piece and so its easy to see our artisans using their experience to improve the design that our designers make.
Also, our designers use everything they have access to inspire and learn. In fact, inspirations come from everywhere and you can see that in our pieces such as nature, history, crafts, fashion, art, music. All of the brands that are part of Covet Group have different identities. Like different persons working for the same purpose: to elevate design and craftsmanship. Being different doesn’t mean they can’t work along, in fact, that’s the main reason they are able to work together since they have different perspectives of the same subject and synergizing this into projects and also during tradeshows.
At Covet Group, designers have the chance to work side by side with artisans and by doing so, incorporate their techniques into their designs in a harmonious but personalized way.
