With a week to go, it is time you get to know another incredible duo which will be speaking at the Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit, happening June 20 – 21 in Porto, Portugal… Get ready to find out all about one of the most incredible brands in the Portuguese fashion industry, Storytailors!

After having met at the Architecture College of Lisbon’s Technical University in 1996, the two friends that would eventually create Storytailors immediately realized their aesthetic choices matched. After taking a few years to mature their ideas, these two artistic friends came up with a concept that would meet the aesthetic feeling they were going for. Inspired by history, fantastic fables and stories, and their obvious love for fashion and tailoring, in 2001 they came up with the perfect name for the new brand their were just about to unveil… Storytailors. 17 years later, it’s impossible not to recognize the brand that the renowned duo João Branco and Luis Sanchez started.

Across their designs, Storytailors not only tell a story, but they also honor some of the most classic aspects of Portugal’s architecture and art histories. Committed to delivering nothing but the best, the designers believe in handmade, bespoke pieces, 100% tailored to fit their clients. This couldn’t be a better match to the first edition of the Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit, where the luxury design industry will be on the spotlight, with panels dedicated to discussing the importance of craftsmanship and bespoke designs in this world.

The iconic duo from Storytailors will be on the second day of the Luxury Design & Craftsmanship Summit, the 21st of June, to talk about design as a driving force of local craftsmanship.
